Transaction ID (TXID) or transaction hash is a unique line of alphanumeric characters used to identify every verified transaction in a specific blockchain. TXID is a unique identifier for each transaction in the blockchain. These IDs are publicly accessible in most blockchains and you can search them using a block explorer.
TXID is useful for finding out basic transaction information, such as the transfer amount, date of transfer, and the sending and receiving address. Besides that, TXID can be one of the first measures to help recover your lost fund because of the wrong address even though it can’t guarantee you a recovery of funds.
