Jakarta, Pintu News – The Pi Network (PI) price in Indonesia today, Thursday (9/1/26), moved amid market attention to the latest developments in the Pi ecosystem. Investor sentiment is influenced by the launch of Testnet 25 which is claimed to bring increased network stability, as well as the synchronization process with the Stellar protocol which opens up opportunities for interoperability.
On the other hand, application changes and user migration stages are also important factors that shape market expectations of PI price movements in the short term.

The Pi Network (PI) price chart over a 24-hour span shows a volatile movement with a tendency to recover at the end of the session. At the beginning of the period, the PI price weakened and moved down to the area around USD 0.207-0.208, reflecting the dominant selling pressure. After that, the price moved sideways with moderate volatility before slowly forming an uptrend.
Entering the second half of the chart, a stronger rebound was seen, characterized by a price spike to near the USD 0.210 level. However, the rally was short-lived and was followed by a mild correction, with prices stabilizing back around USD 0.209. Overall, the chart reflects the market’s attempt to maintain recovery momentum, although short-term selling pressure still limits further upside.

Testnet 25 was launched on January 7 for final testing before Pi Network transitions to the mainnet. With this synchronization, Pi Network adopted the Stellar 25 Protocol which supports more advanced smart contracts. This synchronization ensures that the transition from testnet to mainnet will be smooth, avoiding potential issues that may occur during mainnet expansion.
The Stellar 25 protocol allows Pi Network to improve security and stability, as well as provide better tools for developers. With the third-party toolkit “stellar-pi-coin-sdk” version 23.4.1 fully synchronized with the Stellar 25 Protocol, Pi Network ensures that their infrastructure remains current and ready for the upcoming changes.

Reporting from Coinfomania, along with network updates, Pi Network users have reported sudden changes in mining speed and data on their dashboards.
This change is part of the transition from an older testnet setup to a mainnet-ready system. The Pi app now displays a new long-term goal, replacing the older goal set for 2025.
A total of 15.8 million users have migrated to this new system ahead of the token supply replenishment event in January. This migration demonstrates Pi Network’s readiness for the challenges ahead and shows their commitment to providing a stable and reliable platform for their users.
